MacOSX should have IPv6 support, but does it?

A friend of mine connected using ipv6 to a ftp site, but I can't. I got as far as it asked me a password but then it died, nothing happened (using Safari).

Someone explain me.

ftp at command line didn't work either.
I'm a bit confused.

You actually need an IPv6 address to be able to use IPv6 sites. Either you need to get your ISP to give you an IPv6 address, and then configure it manually (using ifconfig on the command line), or you could get an IPv6 over IPv4 tunnel from someone like 6bone. You'll want to read up about IPv6 on that site too probably.

IPv6 is included in OS X 10.2, but it is not enabled by default. To enable it, check this:
