Anybody else noticed that the numeric keypad has stopped working under 10.2.6?
I have a UK keyboard if that makes a difference ...

Hi
In the System Prefernces, under Universal Access, check your Mouse settings. You may have turned on "Mouse Keys". When Mouse Keys are turned on, the numeric keypad is used to move the cursor, and not to type numbers.
Mouse Keys can be turned on/off by hitting the "alt" key (or "opt" key in the US) five times. It's pretty easy to turn Mouse Keys on by accident. When Mouse Keys are turned on it can appear as if your numeric keypad is no longer working.

I've been having the same problem recently, off and on. Doesn't seem to be any consistent pattern.
And I checked Mouse Keys - they are off.

Andrew
Thanks for the help. You're right: I'd got "Mouse Keys" turned on.
