Has anyone here been able to get FreeTDS to compile and play nicely? I need to get an Xserve and an MS-SQL server talking to each other, and while it seems like FreeTDS could get me there, I'm not sure how to drive the vehicle.

I'd love to talk with anyone who's already done this.
OS X: Where software installation doesn't require wizards with shields.
