Do you have QuickTime Pro? if you do then check in your Systems Preferences for Internet & Network and locate the QuickTime icon, the tab labeled Plug-in make sure kiosks mode is not checked. Having QT Pro easily allows you to save media from sites (those that allow it) to your harddrive. Some web-sites do not make their media available for download. But their is a way around that. In Safari go to your menu-bar where it says Bookmarks>Window I want you to select the Activity Window when you come to a site that doesn't allow you to download a certain file open the Activity Window and it will show you all the links for that web-page. Find the movie file link, double-click will open it into a new window, command + s to save the file to your harddisk.
