... without making backups from your Addressbook and handset entries, before !!!

Especially the P800, Nokia7650 and Nokia3650 will bring up severe problems if older firmware is used. Duplicate entries, deleted entries, entries with no phone numbers, you can have it all ...

Be careful !

Older firmware? Can you provide info? It seems to me that would be Nokia's/SE's fault rather than Apple...

Uhh no. Nokia didn't write iSync. When you Q&A you test with many different combinations, or you issue a Read Me with the release of software that states it only works with certain hardware configs.

No, Nokia didn't write iSync...but if older firmware is causing problems, then it sounds like possible bugs in the Nokia software that sends data incorrectly, handles its side of the sync incorrectly, or something.

iSync is working 100% perfectly, whether I change my contacts on my phone or on my desktop with my Nokia 3650 - and its working perfectly for many many people.

regardless of whose fault it is, it's still good advice by miroslav to back up your address book, especially before using software that interacts with it...
