Is there another way to find out my G4 Powerbook's serial number besides clicking on the apple icon and going into system information through there? I bought my Powerbook used off of eBay and the current OS X install is just so jacked up. It randomly crashes and I can't even click on that apple icon because it will freeze every time. I want to call Apple to see if they will send me the software that comes with the laptop (which the guy did not send), but I think I'll need my Powerbook's serial number first.

Thanks

Geoff

Also check the sides of the battery itself.
