HELP!!!

I installed the 10.2.5 update and then every time my PB tried to present a drop down menu/box, my PB completely froze. It starts dropping and about halfway down, EVERYTING freezes. No beachball, just completely frozen!

I try repairing permissions, but no luck…still freezes with EVERY drop down

So I reinstall from the 10.2 CD, and then do the following:

Repair permissions
Install 10.2.3 update
Repair permissions
Install 10.2.4 update
Repair permissions
Skip the 10.2.5 update
Install 10.2.6 update

BLAM!!!! Again every drop down freezes my PB completely

So, I reinstall again. Then I do the same sequence of updating and repairing permissions. However, this time I do all of the updates and repairs while logged in as “root” (thinking it might make a difference)

Again, once I go past the 10.2.4 update, EVERY drop down causes a complete system freeze.

Again, I reinstall everything. I’m currently at 10.2.4. I’m afraid to go past 10.2.4 because I don’t want to spend another Sat afternoon rebuilding everything.

I want to use the new iSync which requires at least 10.2.5.

Has anyone out there had the same issue? I tried searching the forums and the web, but can’t find mention of any similar problems.

Am I missing something?

What can I do differently?

What the heck do I need to do so I can run the current OS 10.2.6!!!!!
