I've tried several times to install Yellow Dog Linux 3 on my Dual 450. The install runs fine until it trys to install the Omni printer driver packages, I tried cleaning the CD and unchecking the install print drivers option.. I tried looking through the other packages for Omni and couldn't find where it resided so I could uncheck it. Can anyone tell me what the problem is here? And at the very least which part of the install the Omni package is in?

The Omni package is Omni-versionnumber.rpm and Omni-foomatic-versionnumber.rpm. I have never done a YDL 3 install, so that is about as much as I can say. Does YDL allow you to pick individual packages? If so, maybe just omit the Omni ones and rpm them in after the install?

It does, but I can't seem to find anything with the name Omni in it.

Is this on the 3rd CD? My 3rd CD was corrupt despite repeated downloads. I had to find a completely different mirror in order to get a 3rd disc with the right MD5 checksum. I'd check the checksum of your image if I were you.

No, it was on the first disc. Which mirror did you download from?

I had a similar issue with some print driver or something. I just did a minimal install and it skipped whatever it was that I was having trouble with (of course now I'm having trouble setting up my firewall).
