Um....

my mouse cannot drag-click anything....

ie. I can navigate apps just fine (including the Finder), but when i want to "drag" an item (click-hold and move), nothing happens.

The nearest I can tell is that 10.2.6 was updated pretty recently, but it could be something else. I use my mac daily, and I noticed this yesterday, but I cannot think of what would cause this.

I've had problems with mice before when I was new to X and messed with some no-no unix stuff... and restoration of system privs and a restart cleared it up.

I have a M$ Intellipoint, on a Dual 1.2 MDD.

It's like the app "retains" the mouse-down command until I move the mouse (ie. try to drag)....

So if I click-hold on a file and press the arrows on the keyboard, nothing happens (as it should be), but as soon as I move the mouse at all, the arrows function and the mouse's control is relenquished as if I let up off of its button!
