Has anyone seen anything like this before? My log files are full of the stuff (in fact every app I launch).

---------
Jun 18 17:47:29 Crows-G4 /usr/libexec/fix_prebinding: /System/Library/Frameworks/Carbon.framework/Versions/A/Support/LaunchCFMApp could not be launched prebound.

Jun 18 17:47:41 Crows-G4 /usr/libexec/fix_prebinding: /System/Library/Frameworks/Carbon.framework/Versions/A/Support/LaunchCFMApp appears to have no prebinding problems.

Jun 18 17:47:41 Crows-G4 /usr/libexec/fix_prebinding: 2003-06-18 17:47:41 +0100: prebinding for LaunchCFMApp done.

Jun 18 17:49:41 Crows-G4 /usr/libexec/fix_prebinding: fix_prebinding quitting for now.
----

The next time I launch the app, I get the same error message again! I have tried re-installing OS X on a newly formatted HD, but somewhere along the track back to 10.2.6 and reinstalling my apps I pick it up again.

I've tried repairing permissions and fsck -y reports no problems. The same behaviour has now started on my laptop which has a different set of apps...

Any ideas appreciated

Cheers

Just noticed that my iBook/600 running 10.2.6 is doing the same thing, and has been since at least August of this year.

No problems on my G4/933 though.

I tried manually forcing the prebind using update_prebinding, but it didn't stick - once I logged out and back in again the problem started right back up.
