I'm running 10.2.6 on a g4/867. I've recently run diskwarrior on the drive, ran sudo /usr/libexec/locate.updatedb as well as the repair permissions command in disk utility.

When I go to search for a file through the finder's 'Find', it seems to come up with a list of every file that's on my drive.

Any suggestions? My next bet is to toss the finder prefs and relaunch Finder.app.

I logged out and back in again (not rebooting), dumped the prefs and the problem went away.
