Hi, I'd like to add some more options to the icons for the log in screen. Where would I have to put these for them to show up.

/Library/User Pictures/

You might make subfolders to make it easier to pick out your icons from the ones already there.

Yup.

Such as following the instructions in the Accounts preference pane for a user:

"Drag a picture from the Finder, select one below, or click Choose Another to locate a picture file."
