I didn;t think anything of it (well I did, but couldn't think how to fix it) when playing Ghost Recon Demo I was getting 1fps on my Beige G3 MT 266.

Then just now I was playing in the Screen Effects and the slide show is doing 1fps too, it seems OpenGL has gone heywire or something.

This was all working in April just fine. I can't reinstall the Radeon Mac:Edition drivers. the Installer said already installed.

I had to replace my HD due to failure so I reinstalled the OS about 5 times in April/May.

Any idea's? OpenGL should preform with this video card.

Sounds like your drivers aren't working and you're not getting any hardware acceleration.

I'd try removing the drivers (making a backup of them first) and reinstalling the drivers.

Well after symbolic links not working after a crash tonight, I now have confirmed that the "ATI October Radeon Update" doesn't work with 10.2.6, as soon as I installed it al OpenGL stuff didn't work.

Has this happened to anyone else with a Radeon Mac:Edition?

Sorry I can't be of help--I'm having no trouble with my Radeon card and my beige.

I think the only thing you can do is back up and reinstall to get the Apple-provided drivers in OS X. I'm not sure if something like Pacifist would allow you to find/use the vid card driver files and install them by hand instead of a full system install.
