Has anyone tried to see if the ADS Tech Pyro 1394 cam works with the new iChat? Does anyone know what cameras work with the new iChat besides the iSight?

I thought it was any Firewire based camera. Including camcorders with Firewire.

I second that! People I've chatted with have commented on the excellent quality they received.

I have the Orange Micro iBot, haven't connected to another mac yet tho..

if anyone wants to have a go, IM me at IceEnclosure ... I'd be interested to know what the quality looks like on the other end. I'm on dialup tho.. that's an extra challenge to see if the quality is good.

That's good to hear. I haven't tried mine yet, it's somewhere in a box in my closet.

After I found out that I needed to purchase third party drivers just to get it to work, I decided I didn't need it and threw it in there. I guess Apple's got it working now.
