I hit Command+F from the Finder to bring up the find dialog, Enter the info I want to search for, Hit return or click the Search button, and boom the Finder crashes and comes right back up.

I've reinstalled 10.2.6 from the combo updater. Still happening. I've also done a Google search looking for any info and come up with nothing.

When I hit the Search button or the Return key to actually invoke the search the system calls a command named "c++filt2" to actually fo the search and the Finder dies.

Each time I reopen the search dialog it has reverted to the previous search parameters (in my case Search Specific Volumes with Content Contains and Visibility All selected as options).

I'm assuming that the prefs for the Find command are corrupt or some prefs related to something the Find command is doing are corrupt. I haven't just killed the Finder Prefs because I'm not sure that's where the Find Command prefs are actually stored.

Anyone have any ideas of where to keep looking? I can post the crash log if anyone thinks it'll help. Right now I feel like doing this.

Thanks in advance for any help.
