I know iChat AV is betaware. However my issue may not necessarily be with this fact.

Whenever I start using iChat AV for a while my internet connection dies. Optimum Online is my provider.

I have this theory that since the AV isn't running on a special port, the ISP may be putting that traffic into the same category as that for P2P software, such as Kazaa, gnutella, etc. (Something many ISPs discourage you from doing).

Anyone else experience anything similar?
