This is related to the first post. After installing Panther on another harddrive I noticed that I have no sound in either root or use accounts under Jaguar. Under the SysPrefs Audio Devices there is nothing where there should be the default QuickSilver 800 speaker. Booting in Panther the device is there and I have sound. A question of permissions I assume, just don't know what where. Thanks!

I'd do a clean install of Jaguar. Should be easy enough to do on your non-production machine.
Nothing else? I have a lot of applets and configuration and am looking at 1/2 days work. If there was a fix I'd rather do that. If something is broken, then so be it. Tried permissions, prebinding, nothing...
