Well, I'm bored at work. How come Apple never made rounded menus when they went to all the trouble of having windows being rounded rectangles.

Rounded cornered menus would look a little too "immature" for my tastes. I think the rounded windows corners are a nice touch. Rounded menus would be overboard. IMHO.

I agree, I think its just obvious they give the OS a more professional look when compared to rornded ones

Well in Copland we were going to be able to tear off the menu bar and have a weird circle thing instead. I tried using it once, but my computer just crashed.

I think the answer is that the drop-down menus would appear too detached from the header they dropped from if their corners were rounded.
