Quicksilver Dual Gig

Started the computer a few minutes ago and saw something I've never experienced, never even heard of.

The usual screen with the gray Apple and the spinning "clock" beneath it was different. The spinning "clock" was there, but the Apple was replaced with a "NO" symbol...a circle with a slash running through it from ten o'clock to four o'clock. I pressed the Start button for 5 seconds, shut down and restarted, and everything is back to normal.

What did I experience?

Apple knowledge base has an article on this.

Hope it's useful to you.
