I'm using finks GNU Wget 1.8.2. I want to download the online book Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs

I get an "ERROR 403: Access Forbidden" from any directory lower than ".../sicp/". I tried the robots=off trick, both in the .wgetrc and via the -e switch, with no luck.

wget -m http://mitpress.mit.edu/sicp/full-text/book/

What am I doing wrong?

You need to access item individually, because if you try to go to the second URL you give US you get the following message :
Code:
Directory Listing Denied This Virtual Directory does not allow contents to be listed.

Try to download all URL from the index URL (http://mitpress.mit.edu/sicp/full-te...ml#%_toc_start).
