OK, my cd drive is psychotic under X

	I have a Rev. A iMac and ever since the beta of X (on up through Jag-don't have Panther yet), it's a fight to get my cd drive to recognize ANY CD that I put in. If I reboot into 9, it's no problem... pops right up... what gives? It's been eternally frustrating.
	All as artificial as the Matrix itself, although only a human mind could invent something as insipid as Love.
