Hello,

I'm trying to troubleshoot a situation where for some unknown reason my boss's mouse always right-clicks. This problem occurs with two different Apple "Pro" optical mice and Kensington mouse with the "scroll-pad." The problem almost always shows up in Internet Explorer and tends to show up somewhat randomly in his other programs (Finder, Photoshop, etc.)

I tried uninstalling the Kensington Mouseworks and reinstalling the latest version, but nothing seems to help.

Has anyone run into this problem (and/or a solution) before? The system is a G4 Dual 1.42 GHz with Apple Cinema 23" display running 10.2.6.

Thanks for any and all help!

Is the CTRL key stuck? Is the computer set for a left-handed person?

Hi Elmer,

Thanks for your response. I tried swapping in a different keyboard on the thought that the control key might be stuck and that didn't seem to make a difference. (FYI Both are Apple "Pro" USB keyboards)

I also verified in the Kensington Mouseworks software that the left mouse button was set to "click". Even after completely removing the Mouseworks and using Apple's one-button optical mouse, the problem still persists.

Any other options or settings that I should check?

Thanks for any and all help!
