I know how to use the "Find" command to search a directory by file name and was wondering if it was possible to search by "Creator Type" ? For example, I need Terminal to search for files created in Filemaker Pro on a network volume and print their paths.

I know this sounds very "basic" but I have searched high and low on the internet and did not find the information I need. Can anyone help a newbie on that one ?

If you have DevTools installed you have a command

/Developer/Tools/GetFileInfo

if you set "-c" option it gives you just the Creator.
I think using it with `find' (-exec) might give just what you are looking for...
