Hi guys in this land where I never post... I've just had to dive into OSX cold and rather than post a whole bunch of inane questions, do any of you recommend a good book that does the transition well?

For OS X in general;

OS X, The Missing Manual - David Pogue

For the Unix side;

Unix for OS X - O'Reilly

And I also found this to be very, very good;

Unix for Mac - Henry-Stocker & Bartlett.

(The latter comes with a CD with Xfree86,
GIMP, FInk et al).

Good luck with it!
