I need you Terminal geeks!

Im making an app that requires a whole lot of use from the Terminal, and to be honest, Im a newb at Terminal-ism. So I need someone who isn't.

you should also consider applying a little elbow grease of your own by googling for the shell that you're interested in. Basically, ANY UNIX documentation will apply, be it from UNIX, *BSD, SOlaris, AIX, "generic", etc.

Also the builtin man pages aren't too bad, and back in the day that was pretty much all that many of us had to work with, along with a few shell scripts that may have come with standard installations or additional packages.

Speaking of that anyone remember the old ftp meta search sites when they came out? Some of them were so slow, you were just better off handling the search via email.

Veronica and the like would let you search FTP and gopher sites. Very nifty in their time.
