The weirdest thing used to happen on my sisters powerbook g3 (osx 10.2). Every now and then it would start kernal panicking like crazy, refuse to start any apps and eventually give the old os 9 flashing question mark. By mere chance I fixed it by using drive setup's "Update driver" from a 9.2 cd. Any ideas why this worked?
