It's supposed to give a disabled password to newly created accounts. I sort of remember somewhere I read that originally this was for servers, but it's clearly labeled for both clients and servers.

So has anyone applied it? (kind of curious because it's so quiet on this one, and it's not on my SUP)

Yep, it's for client and server- assuming you're ON a network and the account was CREATED BY WORKGROUP MANAGER... which means this is primarily for admins, not for stand alone Macs (in which case it will not show in Software Update for 10.2.6 Client users)...

It only shows up on machines that have Workgroup Manager installed - not on managed clients.
