Also known as a "Boss Key" which was invented way back in the 80's. I think the old Sierra games might have had them first.

And if you have twenty apps open? Safari, Proteus, iChat, Xchat, Pop-Pop, Escape Velocity: Nova, DVD Player, Quicktime etc etc. You'll be there all day!
F11 is easer and looks better. Swish.

If you don't have Panther, nothing.

If you do have Panther, you need to set up the shortcut keys for Expose.

The name conventionally given to that key -in these forums- is ... The Porn Key

You get a frame arround the edge, so you can see the edges of the hidden windows, looks good.

Maybe you should just set in the middle of your desktop pattern a picture of a spreedsheet window you took or a bunch of open work browser windows as your desktop. While it might be ugly whenever you hit F11 bam instant screen full of work windows You can calming open more real ones as the person walk by.

Oh course at my job, part of it is screening all kinds of stuff. So if the boss walks by and I'm browsing a porn site, or watching some sorta movie or reading the latest news then I'm doing my job :-)
