Two questions:

1) When will Panther be released? Is there a definite release date yet?

2) I've heard that if you buy a Mac within x weeks of Panther's release, you'll get a free (or really cheap) upgrade to Panther when it comes out. At least, I think this is how it was done with Jaguar. Can anyone confirm this?

1) No, there is no official release date yet.

2) Discounted copies (shipping charge only) may apply to those who buy 10.2 or buy a computer after the release date is announced. Until Apple comes out and says that this is the case (and they haven't) we are just guessing.


3) Please search the forums before posting....this has all been covered multiple times already, most recently in the last couple days......
