There is a thread on what will become obsolete when Panther is released. A variant of that issue-

Is Panther so designed such that if a program works with 10.2.6 it will work with Panther? And if not, what are the known apps, programs, or techniques that are "suspect" or will actually conflict with Panther?

Panther is designed to open and play with 10.2.6 apps; however, I am sure *some* will need to be updated to take advantage of Panther features and whatnot...

Dreamweaver no workie. Me no likie.

It will launch, but you can't resize windows or attach style sheets (freeze, crash). 7B21 is a pre-release, so one would hope that backwards compatibility will be maintained and these issues will be resolved by GM.

Most major apps will probably be updated by the time Panther ships. Before then, you really shouldn't be using it unless you're a developer updating your apps.

Sorta looks like the Toast conflict may go away with Titanium v6. http://www.macnn.com/news/20500

But I wonder if a v5 fix will (also) be issued or whether a new product need be purchased.

It's my bet that it's time to start saving your Zorkmids.
