I have downloaded a couple of new fonts from the web that I wish to use with Word:mac and Photoshop 7. OS 10.2.6 help says that all I need to do is drag the font files to the Home/Library/Fonts folder and they should be available. This did not work so I also put the new fonts in every fonts folder I could find!!!

I restarted the machine and still none of the fonts are available.

What am I doing wrong? Any help will be greatly received.

Matt.

What kind of fonts are they? Were they marked as Windows or Mac or not marked at all? In theory if you're running OS X then it shouldn't matter really.

Again, theoretically, that's all you should have to do is put them in your ~/Library/Fonts folder.
