I was wondering if there was an AppleScript or a program that automatically added the album artwork to each Album in iTunes without me having to drage each one individual for each album?
Thanks,

A search of itunes + art in version tracker revealed this

I personally used fetch art, selected my entire library and let it work for about a half hour.

Just out of curiosity, how large of a collection did you have and how much did the addition of art increase that size? I would love to have art for all of the albums, but want the most music for my iPod.

My music collection is 3263 songs currently. Each track gets a tiff file that ranges from 100-300kb. Most are in the 200s

yeah, you can select all the tracks, or just the tracks you want (command-click) and then select fetch art from the scripts menu.

I used Fetch Art too and it works great. It sure took a long time on my iBook 800 with about 3000 songs selected. Make sure you select Fetch Art -> copy all art to iTunes once it's done downloading everrything.

This is cool. but the resolution of the images are bad. So I decided to scan the CD covers myself~

I am trying fetch art, but it has been running for 12 hours and is not at half yet... Hopfully it won't crash before it is finished.

Also the cover are stored in the ID tag right? Is there a way to extract and store them somewhere else or not transfer them to an iPod?

The quality of the images is variable, but all look great at the size that I view them. With Synergy they are only about 2cm x 2cm and in iTunes (usually hidden anyway) they are about 4cm x 4cm. If you click on the image in iTunes you get the larger image, where you notice the variation in quality most.

That seems like an awful long time. Like I said before I probably had about 2500+ songs that didn't have album art and Fetch art worked in the background. It took about 30 minutes, but I also have a 3MBs cable modem and used my Dual 500 (1.5gb) to do this.

18hours and past the halfway mark.
This is on a dual 1.25 with cable modem... I think the problem is there are a lot of songs that don't have art, so it takes longer to search.

Anyone on the ID thing?

Used fetch art and left it running overnight. it found most of the covers but i didn't check them all before hitting the "copy to iTunes" button. So how do i remove the incorrect art?
Thanks in advance.
