What is my password or administrator serial #? Is it the same as my login password?

Now this is just funny. Why don't you just try it out?

Whether or not your admin password is the same as your login password depends upon whether you have admin rights on your computer or not. If you are the sole user of this Mac, then I'd say it's a fair bet you are the administrator. In that case, your login and admin passwords are the same.

Since you mentioned Terminal, are you invoking "sudo?" If so, then your admin password is not necessary--your normal login password is all you need, assuming you're on the "sudoers" list.

Hope this helps,

Andy
