I'm perplexed. I wanted to consolidate my 3000 photo's, so I made a new folder called "Old Photo's". This folder sat right above the Trash folder in iPhoto. When I selected all of my old picture folders to put into the newly created folder, I mistakenly put all of the pictures into the trash (I think-there is a small chance that they went to the newly created folder but I doubt it). When the last of the folders disappeared into the trash, iPhoto crashed. I know that I still have all of my pictures because they show up in the main library of iPhoto. However, they are no longer divided into their individual unique folders. In fact, all of my old folders in which I had my pictures organized are now missing.

My questions are: Is there any way to get back my old folders?
Is there any way to get all of my pictures back into their respective folders if those folders can be recovered?

In addition, all of my picutues still show up in iMovie so I know I haven't lost them. They just somehow became misplaced.

I sure hope someone can help me. Thanks.

Lou

Will iPhoto relaunch? Does it have an "undo" (Cmd-Z)?

Yes iPhoto relaunches. . But I still have the above problem. I also have have rebuilt iPhoto by pressing Shift + Option on startup of iPhoto. It did not bring back the folders. I still have acces to all of the pictures in the "Library" folder though. It's just that I have lost all of my organization and I'm pretty anal-hence pretty sad right now.

There is no undo command as far as I can tell.
