Don't know if this has ever been discussed, but ever since I upgraded to jagaur (fresh install) on my DP800, I occasionally (30-40%?) get weird Finder behavior after waking from sleep.

Sometimes clicking on an icon in the dock merely opens a window containing the original. It's like the command key is stuck!

Other times, the finder seems to be in a "hide all" mode, where anytime I switch apps or even browse in the finder a new window opens and all others hide.

Is this common? If I relaunch the finder, the problem goes away.

Is there anyway to avoid this problem? Could it be my keyboard (original)? Anyone else have this problem?

As a professional on site Apple support specialist, don't use sleep if it causes problems.

Wow, that's helpful.

When most people never have problems with sleep, then there is definitely something wrong on his system.

I have no other PCI cards in my system and I never shut down OSX (just sleep, which otherwise is great).

I have a flashed PC Radeon 8500 (but it did it even with the stock GeForce2 Twin Display), two extra IBM 120GBs on the IDE bus, Two non-apple stock opf 512MB Ram, and a USB hub for my scanner.

Otherwise nothing unusual.

But like I said, it's always done this.

Saying "Don't use sleep" is like a doctor telling me not to walk because my knee hurts when I walk.
