hey all

i use Backup, and the reported backup space for my "Docs" folder is about 15 megs less than the Finder claims. when organizing my files, I discovered that certain sub-folders would be aout 70k even when there were no files in them.

this folder originated on an OS 9 machine. I've simply copied it over through the OS upgrades (upto the latest OS X), and I'm wondering if these invisible files are OS 9 leftovers? Backup seems to take them out, so I'm guessing that they aren't necessary, but I'd like to get them off my system, too.

anyone know what they are? or how to get rid of them?

i guess i could simply restore from Backup, but I think you lose creation/mod dates then.

thanks

- matt
