I need to backup data off a PC formatted Hard Disk onto my PowerMac running OSX 10.2

Will OSX be able to read the data straight off, or will I need some kind of application to be able to boot the drive?

Hope someone can help. Im desperate.

OSX can read PC hard drives formatted in either FAT16 or FAT32. It can not read NTFS formatted drives, though.

How are you planning to connect the PC's hard drive to your Mac so you can copy the files over to your Mac's hard drive?

I'll just take out my 10GB HD and put the 60GB PC drive in its place. I'll copy essential files over to my 30GB OSX Boot drive.

Thanks for the help. I just hope its formatted in one of those two and not NT formatted.
