Could anyone here help me pick out a book about unix and mac os x stuff? I dont have any knowledge about unix. I know some stuff for OS X, but not that much. So pretty much i just need a begginers book about unix and what-not. Any help will be apperciated.

I agree with clarkgobal. As I was learning Unix i purchased several books and found Unix for Mac OS X to be the most helpful.

Is there a big difference between the two editions? I can get the first edition on ebay for really cheap so i was just wondering.

You can do that research yourself on O'Reilly's site. They would have information about the changes to the second addition I am sure.
