A while back I posted a thread about a problem I was having in AppleWorks where I would edit an existing document, save it, close it, and then when I re-opened the document none of my changes were saved. I sort of found a way to replicate this problem.
(1) Create a new word processing document in AW;
(2) type a few words and save the document (do NOT close the document);
(3) with the document still open, go to the Finder, find the document in the Finder Window, and change the name;
(4) go back to the AW document and type another word (i.e., edit the document);
(5) click File > Save
[the "Save" feature should appear dimmed and it will no longer let you save!!!]. Obviously, you won't lose data if you File > Save b/c it's clear that something is up. However, if you apple+s (like me) you could end up losing data because of this bug/glitch.
I am just wondering if this problem happens with ALL versions of AW, or if mine is just somehow corrupted. Thanks for the feedback.
