OK, my PowerMac was acting up so I did a force restart after it was just hanging after a restart from the Apple menu. I have done this before without any trouble. This time however mail seems to have added new mail boxes and deleted all most of my sent items and inbox from this year 2003. I think it has switched back to imap. I had it set up to as POP, although now the drop down message is greyed out and just says .mac. What happend? Will I be able to get my old mail back? The files, the ones that have the mailbox icons in the library>mail folder, don't seem to open, how do you open those? I am trying to see if the old messages are in there (actually I have a few extra and am hoping the mail is in one of them)? Any help, this really sucks. Thanks.

Funny how this works out sometimes. OK, I have found my mail, I think the account did get converted back to IMAP and only kept the mail I had set up not be be deleted for a month. Anyways, how do you set your account back to pop? That is what I want right, I want to save all my email on this machine when they come in. Thanks again.
