Hi I am trying to get some Unix software installed.
It is for the building of Blender of projects.blender.org

I need to ask this question.

how can i fix errors when trying to compile programms that give me an error ld: Undefined symbols:_FTF_SetSize _FTF_DrawString

I'd submit your problem to the Unix mailing list at Apple.com. They're very helpful on these things.

which one are you trying to install, and on what? i downloaded the OS X version, and it just works, straight from the disc image

no it is not the installer, it is the source
http://projects.blender.org/projects/tuhopuu/

I can build tuhopuu1 with no problems, but tuhopuu2 is a pain

'msgfmt' is part of gettext. install gettext before running 'configure' and you should be set.
