I just found out that comments I had in some of my OS 9 files did not transfer over in OS X. I downloaded Comment Converter to restore my missing comments. The problem is, Comment Converter appears to only work on the origninating mac, and once those files are moved to another Mac running OS X, the restored comments do not seem to come along with the file. And Comment Converter also appears to change the modification *and* creation dates of the files.
Is there any other way to have OS 9 comments carry over to OS X, and to have them remain when copying those files to another OS X Mac?
Thanks in advance for any help. If this topic has already been covered, my apologies. As you may imagine, doing a search for the word "comment" really isn't much of a help.
