Apple is giving out a 10gig iPod everyday for new users to sign up at the iTunes Music Store (iTMS). They require you to provide a Credit Card number when you sign up. I want to sign up to be entered in the drawing, but I would like to be 150% sure, that Apple's iTMS will not, under any circumstance, obligate me to purchase a song after the account is created. Are they asking you to buy 1 song a year? 1 song a month? 3 songs anytime? Or is the service completely free, unless you hit "Buy Now"?

well....the odds cant be THAT bad...tell me, how many mac users above 18 and have a credit card, that have NOT previously signed up at the iTMS and are living in the U.S. and HAVE Jaguar running iTunes 4 who KNOW about this promotion do you know? an iPod a DAY for 32 days REALLY brings chances UP...i duno...ill post back here if i win ;-)
but for now, itunes is giving me some error... "The music store could not process your request, please try again later."............UGH!!!!!!!! holy mary mother of god i missed yet ANOTHER day .....anyone knwo when they'll be back up? maybe i was wrong and too MANY people are signing up and overflooding the server
