None of the seeded versions of Panther are meant for full-time, production use. If you need to do work, use a finished OS, namely 10.2.

heh, people are complaining before the real deal is released... don't ever use beta builds like they are finished products.

Ok, that was great. It's so amazing that in this day and age of massive, rampant piracy that you get to see threads like this. Confusing a nondisclosure developer beta release of an unreleased commercial operating system for the real thing. I didn't realize how absolutely out of control piracy was until now. Stupid people and making it easy. Should stuck with just IRC and newsgroups...

Next thing you know, some grandma will be asking if 7B44 will store her recipes more efficiently.

Dude, unless www.apple.com/macosx/ has been fully updated and there are no traces of Jaguar on the site, RELAX AND WAIT TIL IT'S BEEN RELEASED FOR PUBLIC USE.

Oh, I don't know... Using 7B44 should be totally fine. Just make sure you don't invite any Apple employees or tech-savvy FBI agents to your house

Panther is 'really cool' and it is quite stable. BUT is it worth the risk of knackering your computer, being sued by Apple etc etc?

I don't worry about it, as I didn't pirate Panther.

Give me $80+tax+shipping, and 7B44 is all yours...I'll even throw in a free Apple sticker for your purchase.
I accept PayPal.
Thanks....

So become an ADC member and you can get the seeds also.
Of course that means you're bound by the NDA.

ADC releases are not so developers can feel cool about getting releases early. They are so that developers can test and debug their software against the new release before it comes out, so they can be compatible and use the new features.
Even developers should not use the panther betas as their primary OS. It's just not smart. When you lose all your data and a month worth of email Apple will say "Sorry, it's a beta!".
