I have been looking around all the forums and haven't found the answer to this question.
When I set up a picture of a friend in my Addressbook does Mail use this when displaying mails from that person? In Jaguar Mail is using it's own pictures using the format <emailaddress.tif>.
I want to set up pictures in one place and used by all application, each application shouldn't use its own images. For exmplae Proteus uses the photo from the addressbook, very nice. You would think that Apple would do the same kind of integration between its own applications.

Can anybody test this in Panther and verify if this works or not? Thanks

So there's no need for a program like Senderpix that copies all of the pictures in the address book to the folder that mail uses for pictures? I've been waiting for that one.
