Hey yeah, I downloaded fink and fink commander, jumped through all the hoops and all that crap... but I haven't been able to install jack!
I saw someone on the OS X forum install KDE and junk and was like hey that's cool. So I tried installing both GIMP and KDE and each time it fails... is there an easier way than using fink commander or what?
every time it says that it got some kind of error after like 5 minutes of downloading this that and it's dog, type stuff.

Any help would be great

-- just type it in terminal and go -- worked for me and whole lot more slick than fink and its miserable commander.
