Screen shots by default save to the desktop, which is all well and good, but I was curious if there was any way known to change the folder location for screen shots.

Didn't see any options in sys prefs, or in Grab...

Does Snapz Pro X allow you to choose a folder to save screen shots into?

Don't know if it is posible in Jaguar, but in Snapz Pro X it is.

In Snapz Pro X you can tell it to save the screenshots to the desktop, clipboard, printer, pictures folder or any folder within, including aliases.

Cool, thanks! I'm trying a new "No files on the desktop" regime, and screenies are making that difficult. Must consult the wallet...

Extract Snapz Pro X from your 10.1 install discs. It works great on Jaguar.

If he doesn't have Snapz Pro installed, I doubt it was on his install disk. It wasn't on mine.
