The only way for me to take advantage of my entire screen is to put it in 800x600 stretched. The rest of the options have a black border. This just started today when I turned it on. What have I done and how do I fix it?

Can you explain a bit further? Are you saying that when you go into the system preferences to change screen resolution to say 1024x768 you get a thick black boarder and not all your screen is used?

What was the last thing you installed/changed before this happened?

I think I have it figured out. I will have to wait until Tuesday to know for sure though because that computer is at work. I had a projector plugged into it and I removed the projector but not the cord coming from the computer. Then I restarted it later in the day. I bet when I unplug the projector cable it will be fine. We will see.
