I've been printing a lot over the past couple days and this just happened out of the blue. Have tried a number of work arounds but can't seem to identify the cause of this problem or get an accidental fix.

I'm running 10.2.6 on a 17" PB .. 10bT -> HP Color Laserjet 8500

I can get one file into the print que and it prints fine. If I try to print again while the first file is still processing it forces a program error where the print command originated and nothing is added to the que.

Anyone experienced this before? Any ideas?

Did you try the usual delete and then add printer? Might want to log out inbetween too.

Yeah, that was one of the first things I tried... also replaced the contents of System/Library/Printers with that from another functioning 10.2.6 system... still no go-

Also anyone know how to make a startup DVD that will work with a 17" PB? I have nortons 8 and want an emergency disk handy...
