Even the small time consultants are minting money ..

It is probably in poor taste for Apple to advertise the relative security of OS X, but perhaps we should start making and wearing tshirts that proclaim it. Our doctors, lawyers, dentists, etc might get the message.

Jeez. I need more rich, Windows based contacts to freelance for. I should keep Mac and Linux to myself as my sanity savior.

I work with Windows clients all the time and you truly do rake in the cash form desperate people when a big worm hits. I've made over $600 in the past week from Windows clients with the blaster worm and $200 from Mac uses with ancient, failing hardware (about average for a week). Life is good...

I've spent a lot of time getting my clients to implement good update policies and technical countermeasures for these kinds of things. So I haven't made much money off these latest worm attacks.

There's always holes in any plan though (usually the manager who brings in his laptop from home..)
